This week I was thinking about what it takes to go from where you are to where you want to be. I thought back to times where I wanted to reach a goal so bad that I was willing to do anything. I can be pretty “black and white”, which in this case is good, because I drop “one way” and start a new way with a vengeance.

I realized in thinking about different situations in the past where I did reach goals or didn’t reach goals, and it was about my ability to embrace the change that needed to happen. Change can be scary; change can be a leap into the unknown; change can be hard work… but without change we don’t get what we want. (Unless being stuck is what we want.)

A body in motion says in motion is one of my favorite sayings. But what’s next can be a tiring way to live unless it’s for something you really, really want.

This especially applies to our finances, financial freedom, health and relationships. My area of expertise is the relationship we have with money.  I hope you take me up on my free 30 minute money-mindset consultation. Just email me at athena@athenapaquette.com for an appointment.

Below are some very smart people and their idea on change…

“Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me.” – Carol Burnett

“Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.” – George Bernard Shaw

“Growth is painful. Change is painful. But, nothing is as painful as staying stuck where you do not belong.”
– N. R. Narayana Murthy
